Technique

The artist frequently uses, but not exclusively, recylcled materials, shattering and composing them with a reserch work inspired by the principles of Zen aesthetics as they are sumed by the Zen master and
philosopher Schi'nici Hisamatsu (1889-1980) in the volum "Zen and the Fine Arts" (1971 Kodansha International).

In the last production there is a more explicit and skilful use of fractures, defined by the artist “cuts of light”, which break down the glass surface in planes, at the same time, parallel and asymmetric giving rise to refractive games for which light penetrates the matter transforming and transfiguring it.

“Light cuts” are the projection of the human story: fractures of life give new light to the life itself and give the opportunity to transform it, to make it more rich, intense, full of light.
